Saturday in the park

We went to the park yesterday evening. It's a great little place smack in the middle of a street. It's got all of these gorgeous old houses. There's this beautiful Gothic Revival house that I covet. Anyway, Ronan had his first venture on a slide. He loved it! Of course, who doesn't love the slide? Daddy helped him go down many times. Of course, there are also the classic swing and jungle gym that were enjoyed as well.

Saturday Futbol.

We had another soccer game today. The Sparkz were unfortunately defeated by the Pink Ladies. (who are incidentally, undefeated) It's alright, though, we scored a goal, we have a lot of heart. And there was tons of fun. Plus the Sparks has Izzy on it, which automatically makes it the best soccer team ever.

My man

For a guy that dosen't like having his picture taken, he sure can give me a great smile. Yes, I am going to be that person and point out how gorgeous his blue eyes are.

Watch out, Mia Hamm. There's a new kid in town.

Izzy had a soccer game yesterday. Yes, they only tied 2-2, but watch her in action. She is inspiring.

Ronan loves himself some bathtime.

Since he was an infant, Ronan has always loved his baths. He will stay in there as long as you let him. He has a bit of an issue with drinking bathwater, though. So we are working that out.

My goddaughter is awesome!

I just wanted to share with everyone who may read this that my godchild, Kaelea, scored her first run of the softball season tonight. She is so amazing, I am so proud.

Virtual Animal Cruelty

Izzy and Ivan are 7 and 8, so you know that they love Webkinz. They are going out of town with their Dad this weekend and will be gone for over a week. And I will be darned if I did not get specific instructions on how to log in and take care of these Webkinz. Pleading eyes, imploring voices, to please make sure these animals (who only exist on the computer) are visited and fed so that they are not unhealthy when they get home. I did say yes, as I am not wanting toi traumatize them. Secretly, the website is a little fun. But don't let them know.

Kitty Surgery

So my kitties are getting spayed and declawed tomorrow. Stella on the left, Ashton on the right. It's kind of sad, because they are walking around here as if everything is normal. They have no idea, and wonder why they're water bowl is empty, and why there is no food. Can't explain to them that the anesthesia is gonna happen. So, suffice it to say there will be plenty of extra cuddling tonight. Though I feel bad, I know it's the right thing. Bob Barker would be proud.
